Refunds & Cancellations

If something isn't right, we fix it or we refund it.

Plain terms for deposits, cancellations, recurring plans and our workmanship guarantee.

Our basic commitment

We want you to be satisfied with the work. If something we did is not right, tell us within 7 days of the service date and we will return and correct it at no additional charge.

If we cannot correct it to your satisfaction, we will refund the amount you paid for that specific service. This is our workmanship guarantee and it applies to every job we perform.

Cancelling or rescheduling a scheduled job

More than 24 hours before the scheduled start: cancel or reschedule at no charge. Any deposit is refunded in full, or applied to the new date, whichever you prefer.

Less than 24 hours before the scheduled start: we may retain up to 50% of the deposit to cover the crew time and the scheduling slot that can no longer be filled. We routinely waive this for genuine emergencies and for weather — just tell us what happened.

If we cannot reach the property or cannot begin work because of locked access, an unsafe roof, an unrestrained dog, or no one available to authorize the work, the visit counts as a same-day cancellation.

If we cancel or reschedule — for weather, equipment, or any other reason on our side — you are never charged, and any deposit is refunded in full or moved to the new date, your choice.

Weather. We do not put crews on wet or storm-exposed roofs. If weather forces a change, we reschedule at no cost to you. Weather delays are never treated as your cancellation.

Deposits

Where a deposit is required, the amount is stated on your written estimate before you pay it. Deposits are applied in full to the final invoice for that job.

A deposit is refundable under the cancellation terms above. If a job is cancelled by us, or if we determine after inspection that we cannot safely or lawfully perform the work, the deposit is refunded in full.

Recurring maintenance plans

If you are on a recurring plan, the amount and the billing frequency are stated in writing before the first charge, and you receive a receipt for every charge.

You can cancel a recurring plan at any time by calling, texting or emailing us. Cancel at least 3 days before the next scheduled billing date and you are not billed again. If you cancel after a charge has already been taken but before that service has been performed, we refund that charge in full.

We do not charge cancellation fees on maintenance plans and there is no minimum contract term.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We process them within 3 business days of approval. After that, how quickly it appears depends on your bank — typically 5 to 10 business days for a card.

We cannot refund a card payment to a different card or send it by another method. That is a restriction from the card networks, not our preference.

What is not refundable

We are straightforward about the limits, so there are no surprises:

Work already completed and accepted, where the complaint is not about the quality of our work. For example: a cleaning was performed correctly, and pollen returned three weeks later.

Pre-existing conditions we documented and reported to you. If we photograph cracked glass, a failing inverter, corroded wiring or roof damage and send you that report, our diagnostic work was performed and is payable, even when the news is bad.

Production results. Cleaning typically improves output, but we cannot guarantee a specific increase in kilowatt-hours. Production depends on weather, shading, panel age, inverter condition and utility factors outside our control. We do not refund because the number was not what you hoped.

Work performed by a licensed contracting partner under a separate contract with you. Permitted electrical and roofing work is performed by licensed contractors. Where that work is contracted directly between you and that contractor, its refund terms are governed by that contract. We will still help you resolve it.

Digital guides and reports

We sell a small number of written digital products — currently a solar production report card and a roof-and-solar planning kit. These are described here because they work differently from field work.

What you are buying. A written document, delivered as a PDF. Nothing is shipped to you and there is no physical product. The price shown on the product page is the full price in US dollars; there are no additional fees, subscriptions or automatic renewals.

Delivery. Your document is sent to the email address you give at checkout, normally within one business day and usually much sooner. These documents are prepared by a person, not generated automatically, which is why they are not instant. If you have not received it after one business day, check your spam folder and then text us at (863) 662-1637 — we will resend it right away.

Refunds. If the document is wrong, not what was described, or simply not useful to you, reply to the delivery email within 14 days and we refund it in full. You do not have to justify the request and you do not have to return anything. We would rather refund $19 than argue about it.

Accuracy and limits. These documents are informational. A report card compares your reported production against what is typical for a system of that size and location; it is an assessment based on the figures you supply, not a physical inspection, and it is not an engineering report, a warranty claim, a legal opinion or a contract review. A planning kit gives typical Central Florida cost ranges and questions to ask; actual prices, permit fees and requirements vary by jurisdiction and change over time. Nothing in these documents creates a guarantee of production, of price, or of any outcome.

If you give us wrong figures. The report card is built from the numbers you enter at checkout. If those numbers are wrong, tell us and we will rebuild it once at no charge.

Before you dispute a charge

If you are unhappy with a charge, please call us first at (407) 753-7515. Most issues are resolved the same day. A chargeback takes weeks and helps neither of us.

We keep dated photo documentation of every job, which means we can usually show you exactly what was done and settle the question quickly.
